    May Fourth Movement greatly promoted specialization and modernization of the research of ethics in China. Through the movement, the research of ethics became an independent knowledge because it was released from the shackles of traditional morality and political and other non-academic factors,and a good foundation had been laid for the prosperity of ethics research. At the same time, formalistic approach that existed in the field of social ethics also limited the development of national and localized systemic theory of ethics. It had been an important topic being thought by scholars after May Fourth Movement.

    Since the May Fourth Movement, Chinese moral education theory has been beginning to draw lessons from the west.It has been a history of 90 years so far.The study in the 90 years may be marked four periods such as the period of introduction,criticism,rethinking and drawing-on-experience.The article takes the dissemination of Dewey's moral education thoughts in our country as an angle of view,to reveal its historic course and law of development of the Western Civilization Taken over the East about Chinese moral education theory since the May Fourth Movement, then proposes the reference enlightenment forour moral education construction.

    The moral living of nationalities in the west region in Qin and Han dynasties took on strong characteristics of utilitarianism, which not only oriented by existence,but also kept out the principle of justice and also was the general moral principle practiced by the city states in the west region.This kind of moral living not only manifested in the process of intercourse between nationalities in the west region and powerful nationalities out of the west region,but also permeated in social living of the city states.In the process of struggling against Hun's repression with Han and being governed twice by Han Empire,the moral living of the nationalities in west region was affected in varying degrees by the Hans' morality

    Moral authority is an important force in maintaining social moral order. In traditional Chinese society moral authority and political authority are in unity. Moral authority even found its expressions in the legitimacy of sovereignty. The establishment of moral authority is based on a substantial theoretical basis. Wang Yangming's replacing Li with Xin proved to be an important reason for the lack of moral order in late Ming Dynasty.

    Is Confucianism compatible with care ethics? Three scholars resulted the opposite conclusions by unscrambling the conceptions of Jen and care,criticizing and re-creticizing the universalism of principle,beyond or toward to tradition and the position of feminist or not.Chengyang Li thought that the two ethics are compatible, and they could learn from each other and use for references and create a fire-new ethics theory.But Daniel Star and Lijun Yuan criticized the views of Li from different perspective,and rejected the possibility of compatibility of two whereas they expressed some common points of view.

    The good implement of villagers' autonomy is supporting power of establishing harmony and stability in social transformation period. From the ethics point of view,villagers' autonomy should develop its own code of ethics and commitment mechanisms and realize human's free development in terms of self-governing principle and norm.So that it will sustain the harmony of ethical order.It will be vital important to look directly into the problems,in order to realize the value pursuit of autonomic ethics and rural stability.Through empirical research on Qingzhou rural governance model,we found it was the discordance between villagers and village and the contradiction between villagers and freedom and order that led to the discordance of freedom and order.The radical way of solving the problem of the value pursuit of autonomic ethics lies in perusing dynamic balance,positive interaction and the unification of the village,villagers,freedom and orders in four aspects:developing collective economy,applying grass root regulation, balancing the profit and expediting the course of villager education.

    There is only the historical and concrete morality.However,it is not meant there is not any widespread morality and it is not also indicated it has no the necessity to seek the universal moral value.Kant's theory of morality is both virtue and rule; both the moral subject and the moral noumenon, so the both are internally united. In the western society, the external normal ethics is much more prevailed because it has the tradition that politics and law are higher than ethics and morality,it is different from the Chinese traditional ethics. The Chinese traditional ethics has the character of the unity of internal regulation and moral consciousness.It is powerless when the traditional theory of normal ethics faces the complex ideas of value and the disorder situation of morality in the world of today,then MacIntyre advances his view which want to revive Aristotle's theory of virtue.The view has real something that we ought to transfer the external normal ethics into the internal regulation,and combines the popular end of life with people's good conscience which both are set up on the foundation of modern idea of value.

    Tan Sitong's viewpionts on the righteousness and utility succeed the Chinese traditional theory of the utilitarianism, the viewiont on public and private interests, the democracy and the nationalism,but added his contemporary contents.Not only his viewpionts had the significance of economy and ethics,but also was his political ideas.On the one hand,in order to plead for the development of the modern industry and commerce and the capitalism prduction relations,he criticized the traditional dogmatists on his contemporary who were passive,conservative and did not talk the profits, also criticized the misconception of the closed-door policy which believed that if to carry out the trading policy, it would cause the corruption,and standed for the reaffirmation which ban on maritime trade.On the other hand,he took the democracy and the principles of the people's profits and of that the world is public as the weapons to criticize unrelentingly the Chinese feudalism and the Man Qing dynasty. Tan Sitong's viewpionts on the righteousness and utility had the strong and obvious characteristics of enlightenment and the modern consciousness.
