Abstract: May Fourth Movement greatly promoted specialization and modernization of the research of ethics in China. Through the movement, the research of ethics became an independent knowledge because it was released from the shackles of traditional morality and political and other non-academic factors,and a good foundation had been laid for the prosperity of ethics research. At the same time, formalistic approach that existed in the field of social ethics also limited the development of national and localized systemic theory of ethics. It had been an important topic being thought by scholars after May Fourth Movement.

摘要： 五四运动大大促进了中国伦理学研究专业化和现代化的步伐。它使伦理学研究摆脱了传统道德观念的束缚和政治等非学术因素的影响,成为一门独立自主的学问,为伦理学研究的繁荣打下了良好的基础。与此同时,社会伦理道德领域内存在的“形式主义的方法”在一定程度上也限制了系统的民族化、本土化的伦理学理论的发展,成为五四之后的学者们反思的一个重要课题。
