For defining media ethics advisably,we should firstly not to departure from the essentiality of ethics, hich we take as devoting itself to ultimate good. And then,we also should review the theoretical approach of media ethics from the three dimensions of meta-ethics,normative ethics and applied ethics. In the thesis, the writer takes the point that media ethics firstly concerns the choices, which involve good and bad taken by those who work for mass media. It studies systematically how morally good media operates,nd whether its operation meets what it ought to be.It also study the problems as how those, who work for mass media, think of their actions concern good and bad, right and wrong,as well as how they make decision.Secondly,as involve our practical life, media ethics also tries to define the principled contents which construct our value and criterion, and are received consistently by individual, group or those within one culture community.
