    There is a misunderstanding when we compare China and West cultures that no attentions were paid to the value of people during the history of china. On the contrary, I believe the essence of Chinese cultures is the belief of ultimate concern for peoples, rather than the religious belief like the western. The characteristics of this ultimate concern in Chinese cultures include showing ultimate concern for the human lives and morals when compared with all things on the earth other than human beings, for the civilians in the society and politics, and for the man's personality and will when involved with the code of ethics. This ultimate concern is one of the most precious treasures in Chinese culture. The quintessence of the belief shows great significance and values, which help us to fully understand the definite content and ways to deepen the man's idea, enhance their cultural quality, and have them all-round developed nowadays in China.

    The socialist outlook of honor and shame, namely the “eight honor and eight shame”outlook, focus moral commands of socialism on the outlook of honor and shame, and concentrate on everybody's conscience. It is throwing straws against the wind indeed. The “eight honor and eight shame”urge people to make a correct choice between good and evil, and enlighten people to make self-intention, self-choice, self-demand of personal morality, at the same time it also emphasize civil moral rights and duties. Put the ”eight honor and eight shame”into effect is to reinforce moral quality and moral practice, and it will create the spirit condition for moral construction of socialism and the construction of harmonious society.

It not only requires people to conform to natural laws, but also asks them to show their subjective activity while developing natural environment to make their livings. Since modern age, success of science and technology is also to foster mankind's arrogance and conceit toward nature and result in the mistaken idea that mankind can obtain infinite and profound mystery of nature with limited knowledge. Contemporary ecological crisis originate in this epistemology.     Capable-man morals refer to the various ethical factors combined to create capable men. It is not only part of the theory of human resources management, but also the study object of the so-called capable-man ethics, which includes five aspects, that is, the relationship between moral integrity and ability, the moral quality of capable men, the moral criteria for judging capable men, the moral surroundings for capable men, and the moral role of capable men. The relationship between moral integrity and ability is the basic relationship that capable-man ethics has to deal with. In capable- man ethics the idea of “ having both ability and moral integrity” is the most important category. Capable-man ethics is intended to improve the moral quality of capable men. The study of capable-man ethics is of great theoretical and practical significance.

    Hannah Arendt used two different expressions to describe the phenomenon of the evil under totalitarianism, that is, the radical evil and the banality of evil. The fundamental characters of the former include destroying the concept of development and progress of human being, devoting to the enterprise of making people superfluous, eliminating the juridical person in man, the moral person in man and the man as individual. The characters of the latter embody in thoughtlessness and shallowness. Arendt offered a new kind of angle of view to think the origin of phenomenon of evil and the moral responsibility which the person should burden under the totalitarianism; therefore she provided a theoretic possibility towards an ethics of personal responsibility that its core is thinking.
