Abstract: To call on people to obeying nature is a main part in the ecological view of nature in Ancient China. It not only requires people to conform to natural laws, but also asks them to show their subjective activity while developing natural environment to make their livings. The idea has important influence on China's classic architecture. For example, the architectural idea of adjusting measures to local conditions comes from it. To emphasize the importance of obeying nature and caring for man is instrumental both to modern ecological ethics and ecological architecture.

摘要： “顺天应人”是中国古代生态自然观的主要内容,一方面指人应该顺应自然规律,另一方面指人应该发挥主观能动性,改造自然环境,使之适应人的生存和生活。“顺天应人”的生态自然观对中国古典建筑观念产生了重要的影响,主要体现在“虽由人作、宛自天开”的建筑观和“因地制宜、因势利导”的建筑观方面。无论是顺天还是应人,目的都是使人与自然和谐共处、相得益彰,这对于现代生态伦理学和现代生态建筑学都是具有启发意义的。
