    There are rich resources in traditional Chinese culture. If we transform them creatively, they may become valuable spiritual property for social economic development and cultural construction. The idea that some western sociologists count China among countries with low trust is controversial, for different cultural traditions will of course lead to different models of trust. There existed high trust in traditional Chinese society based on acquaintances. The crisis of trust existing in contemporary China is derived from the social transformation, which does not necessarily leads to the understanding that China is a countryof low trust.
