Abstract: Etiquette is one of the cultural activities which first appeared.The etiquette of China tradition is the etiquette of laws,the etiquette of morality,the etiquette of enlightenment and the etiquette of folk-custom,thus it has its unique connotation. Because of the collision between Chinese and western culture and the controversy between the traditional and new thought,the condition of fuzzy function has occurred in modern China,which can be described as "the traditional etiquette has gone" and "the modern one has not been constructed".In modern China,the interpretation of the ethics function of etiquette makes it become the fulcrum of dharma cultivation,the carrier of moral education,the order of social relationship and the benchmark of national image.It is of great significance to give full play to the function of etiquette in promoting spiritual civilization.

摘要： 礼仪是起源最早的文化活动, 中国传统之“礼” 是典章之礼、道德之礼、教化之礼、民俗之礼,因而具有独特的内蕴。由于中西文化的碰撞,新旧思想的交锋,中国现代出现了旧“礼”已去,新“礼”未构,功能模糊的状况。在当代中国,对“礼”之伦理功能进行解读,使礼仪成为德性修养的支点,道德教育的载体,社会关系的秩序,民族形象的标杆,充分发挥其在精神文明建设中的作用,具有重要意义。
