Abstract: Marriage base of China and the West is different in the mordern society.Chinese marriage bases on reproduction, the western marriage bases on love, Chinese marriage lays a stress on family duty, the western marriage lays a stress on private feeling. They are both advantages and disadvantages, they must use for reference and fuse each other.
