Abstract: The theoretical basis for the Buddhist morals of China can be justified by the deontological character, value and self-consciousness of its ethical implication. Specifically speaking, its deontological character lies in its transcedental view of life; the basis for its value is nothing but the theory of manditory reward and punishment, while the theory of heart and humanity forms the origin of self-conscioueness.
