Abstract: For a long time,people regard law-abidance as pure obedience.Actually,that is only the passive side of law-abidance.Its deeper meaning includes maintaining the law,exercising the legal right actively and respecting the law.That is active law-abidance.However nowadays,most law-abidance behaviors are passive,It's mainly due to the increasing loss of sense of justice.The effective realization of law relies on the sense of justice to express and support.Although the existence of sense of justice is very important,it's hard to find the root from Chinese glorious history and tradition.The deep pervasion and wide spreading of Confucian theory has exerted subtle influence on the formation of Chinese nation's thinking mode,legal consciousness and moral psychology which lays down the foreshadowing for the modern shortness of sense of justice.
