Abstract: John Dewey is a famous American philosopher of pragmatism. "Philosophy reformation" is his important views.He took the reformation of moral ideas as one part of his whole philosophical reformation.He thought moral ideas should adapt to the request of the ages.His reformation attempted to replace the abstract moral principle with the concrete judgment,then construct one kind of reflective morals,and make moral aim in itself not out of itself.Only this,the moral ideas are positive indeed.
