Abstract: A view of making good-neighborly relations is an important aspect in the Chinese traditional thoughts of ethics of family. As a great Confucianist at the late Qing Dynasty, Zeng Guo-fan was deeply contaminated by Chinese traditional culture. The view of making good-neighborly relations is one of important contents in Zeng Guo-fan's rich ethical thoughts of family, perhaps contemporary people may acquire some useful enlightenment from them.
