Abstract: The return of normative ethics is a development of the ethics theories during sixty years of last century, this paper was devoted to looked back to the historical tradition and basic characteristics of the normative ethics and points out the predicament of the normative ethics on the standpoint of existentialism: How is the source of the moral norm confirmated? Is it possible for the moral norm to be certificated? How does the binding force of the moral norm guarantee? How does the moral norm be applicable to the world out of the person?
