Abstract: Dr. Sun's thoughts on economic ethics base the phenomena of ethics and moralities on the research of people's livelihood. He thinks the issue of people's livelihood is the center of all social activities and is the source of social ethics and moralities. He insists the interests of a nation and its people be the moral criteria. When adjusting the contradiction between national and individual interests, he cites "sacrifice self and serve all " as a principle. He emphasizes that only when the problems of civil rights and of a people are solved can the economy developing barriers be eradicated at root. He also holds that to realize moral progress and economic development, we should take "helping each other " as a guide, minimize savageness' maximize humanity and foster noble personality.
