Abstract: The history of moral life is a recount and reappearance of the country and the nation's history.As a subject,it identify descriptive ethics with standard ethics taking the moral life in different periods as the research object. Because of the the nature of the characteristics,the research of moral life has its own area and requirements in principle.It is both a empirical study and a value study. It must surmount research standpoint of naturalism and prior principle,carrying on the conformity to the two.In such research,we should pay attention to the relationship between moral life and the history of ethics thinking,avoiding being limited in the history of ethics thinking.Both the principle of the unify of fact and value and the principle of the unify of contents and form must be received and obeyed.
